My Fitbit will not sync and my phone says there's not updates in the App Store yet when I look at the version my app is far behind. How can this be fixed?

Hi @helpme6969 welcome to the Community! Let me give you a hand on this. First of all, I suggest you to take a look of the instructions on this post to restart your tracker. If after that, your Charge HR still not syncing, I suggest you to follow the troubleshooting on this other post.

Let me know how it goes!

The info that was in the reply to me was insufficient because the links didn't open anything but a page saying there was no info sorry for the inconvenience. Please help me solve the issue I use my Fitbit everyday normally but haven't been able to I've only had it since January

Hey there @helpme6969 thanks for the update! Robot HappyMmmhhh this is really weird since you were not able to open the links provided above I will be more than glad to provide you with the steps here. First restart your tracker by doing the following:

1. Plug your charging cable into the USB port and insert the other end into the port on the back of your tracker. Your tracker will begin charging.
2. Press and hold the button for 10 to 12 seconds until you see the Fitbit icon and a version number.
3. Let go of the button.
4. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

After restarting your tracker please go here.

Hope this helps, keep me posted! Smiley Wink

  • Your device software is updated to the latest version. To check, tap Settings> General > Software Update.
  • Bluetooth is enabled on your device. To check, tap Settings > Bluetooth.
  • Your device is only managing one Bluetooth connection at a time. For more information, see The Fitbit app for iOS is interfering with my other Bluetooth devices.

Turn off Bluetooth, turn it back on, and then open the Fitbit app.
Force quit the Fitbit app and open it again.
Reboot your mobile device and then open the Fitbit app again.
Restart your tracker. For more information, see How do I restart my tracker?
Try syncing with a computer instead. If you use the notifications feature, first see Why is my tracker only syncing with one mobile device?
If you're still unable to sync, contact Customer Support so we can investigate the issue and get you back on track.
