iOS update 3.83 was released yesterday and quickly followed by release 3.8 3.1. I have reviewed the updated application for improvements to accessibility for blind and reading, disabled users. It appears nothing has changed. Hourly information continues to be unavailable to people who are blind, using Apple‘s voiceover screen, reading software. Sleep percentages continue to be an issue. Estimated oxygen variance is still not available. Heart rate plus heart rate zone numbers continue to be unavailable since removed months ago. The edit button which was removed in September 2021 is still unavailable to those who are blind, and using Apple’s voiceover screen, reading software.  Four sided users and blind users the step Street total continues to be that since the last time the number was reset and not the actual total. My step streak reported 260 consecutive days of reaching my step streak today when the actual number is 970 days in my step Street.  Other information that was once available continues to be available only to those who are cited. I am still waiting to hear from someone as to when, and if accessibility for blind and reading disabled users, using Apple‘s voiceover screen, reading software will be done in future versions of the  Fitbit iOS application. Again yesterday version 3.83 was released and immediately followed by the release of version 3.83.1 and again nothing has been done to improve use ability for people who are blind and reading disabled.

Additional update to above. Tiles in the iOS app homepage continue to flip. In my case the distance tile does not change but the steps, floors, calories and zone minute tiles, flip order, and then return to original order at random times. I am unable to Re-create the tiles flipping because this hand pins at random intervals.

Further update: I have noted that tiles are disappearing at random intervals, and then later become available. The tiles are steps, floors, calories hands-on minutes. Distance continues to be available at all times. The lack of accessibility to information in the Fitbit iOS app is extremely frustrating because I rely on that information while I exercise, in order to measure my outcomes. It is extremely frustrating not to have heart rate at heart rate zone information because I am not sure when and if I am meeting, cardio zones and fat burn zones. I am unable to read the information on my Fitbit tracker screens  And rely solely on my iPhone to get the information I need while I exercise. As a blind user of the Fitbit product, I continue to bring this information to the community in hopes that someone with the power to make the Fitbit devices accessible to people who are blind and reading disabled  Will look at the disability access for all people with disabilities using Fitbit devices.
