Hi there everyone!

Thank you so much for reporting that the Fitbit app is no longer showing all the steps and distance history data.

Our team is aware of this situation and suggests trying the following:

  1. Log out of the Fitbit app. (To prevent the data from being lost).
  2. Uninstall the Fitbit app.
  3. Reinstall the app.
  4. Log in again.

Yes, please.  4.41 fixed nothing, instead made things even worse, eliminated active minutes history.  And 4.42 has not fixed it, nor, as always, did it fix any of the long standing problems.

Google/Fitbit, can you please explain why you refuse to fix the app, and why you are now making it even worse?  Can you tell us why?

When will you fix the app...?    When will we be able to see our historical data again?  Could you please provide some answers?

I am experiencing the same thing on my Iphone.

I did these 4 steps.  I am amazed and pleased to report that it did at least recover presentation of Active Minutes current and historical.   But, nothing else was fixed.  The long standing absence of step history, distance history, calorie history, etc still not showing.  At least it's back to where it was before 4.41 and 4.42.  So, thanks for that.

But, as per usual, FatimaFitbit, none of my questions were addressed.  Simply ignored, as usual.

Once again, would you please provide actual, direct, and substantive answers to my questions?  When will I, a long time One user, be able to see my historical data?  Including just yesterday's data...let alone all my data since 2014.  How about it?  Why does Fitbit/Google deliberately refuse to fix this problem?

Thanks!

Follow FatimaFitbit's directions. I have all step, distance, calories, sleep history, etc. restored with new download of app. Thanks...

Magnetix, can you advise, which Fitbit device are you using?   I followed the steps, but only got partial improvement as I said above.  I use an old but still good One.  I would consider upgrading if a new device would recover all my data.

Thanks

Data is data despite where it comes from. I use a Versa 2 Fitbit (and don't want a Versa 3 or 4). I would suggest your problem is installing the app after you have removed your current one. "Sign out, delete app, download app (from App Store in my case), sign in..."
