I just switched to an iPhone SE from the 5s and now my phone cannot find my Fitbit charge. Is this phone not supported yet?

Hi, yes she can do everything and anything possible that the place is
capable of doing with her SE. She is even in the middle of training for a
5K and all her runs and workouts show up on the app afterwards as well as
on the Fitbit. What problems are you having exactly and maybe I can help
walk you through them? Just get back to me when you can and I'll do my best
to help you.

ok. so when i basicly use my charge2 on a normal base. like walking around the city, getting up in the morning. that bluetooth sych is working. i just click bluetooth, open my app and everything is synced.

but when i get ready to go for a run. i'll take my phone with me, start bluetooth, start the app and then i push the button on my charge2 multiple times till i se "run" and there i'll hold the button a little longer till it vibrates. at that moment a message pops up in my fitbitapp that i should allow fitbit to enable my location at all times and that i have to enable the app fitbit in my bluetooth-sharing menue. i'll do the first and try to do the second and there is nothing in that menue to enable. and i tried it at my dads phone, and there the app is listed and you just have to make the right button green to enable. but the app is not listed at my phone!

yes i know it's a diffrent phone. i already wrote that before (see above)

i have a iPhone SE and my dad an iPhone 7

BUT another person told me (see above) that they don't have any problems with the iPhone SE

so what's the problem with mine????!

OK, I don't personally use an iPhone, but I've taken a look at my wife's. So these are the steps I took to reproduce what I think your problem is :

  • Open Fitbit app
  • Click on the Exercise tile
  • Click the stopwatch icon in the top right hand corner
  • Click the track button on the top of the page.

I then see a red exclamation mark and a message saying 'Enable Location Services to track'. I also see red circle lower down saying 'NO GPS' where the map should be. Is this what you see on your fitbit app? If so, the solution is:

  • Go to settings > privacy > Location Services at the top of the menu.
  • Scroll down the list of apps until you see Fitbit
  • Change from 'Never' to 'Always

Go back to track in the Fitbit app and it will now be able to connect to GPS. I hope that works for you as well. 😎

nope that's not the problem.

i can start a run from the app (imagine i go for a run and i just start the activity over my phone) that works perfektly fine BUT!! it should be possible to just have my phone with me (imagine in a purse/bag or pocket) and then decide to track the activity i'm just doing. so i should be able to click the little left button at my WATCH till i see *run* (or something similar because mine is in german) and when i'm there i have to press the little button longer to start the activity from my WATCH - it starts yes but then my watch tells me that there is no GPS sharing with my phone. just the step and heart rate tracking and on my PHONE the messages pops up: you have to enable GPS sharing over bluetooth something (i explained the message above and don't have time to write it again) - and i follow the app instruction but when i'm at bluetooth something i CAN'T enable the fitbit app because it's not even listet (and it should)

thanks for trying to help me

i think i really have to reset my phone at some point to try it then

I've looked at the Bluetooth sharing section on my wife's phone, and I also don't see this option to share with Fitbit, so I've honestly no idea why this doesn't work. Sorry  Smiley Sad
