Frustrated that calls and texts will not appear on my Charge 2 despite all day sync being turned on and bluetooth connection appearing to be fine.

I had to move the slide over on my Fitbit  app notification page to turn on calls.

I’ve done that, they are all switched to on. It still doesn’t work. Do you have an iPhone X and a charge 2?

Now, if you're not yet receiving Notifications, please follow the instructions listed in this post to reset Notifications on your tracker. Please note that the Charge 2 have a "Do Not Disturb" mode that prevents them from getting Notifications:

For the Charge 2, press down the button on the side for 2 seconds while on the clock face, a vibration and a message will let you know if Notifications have been turned on or off.

That setting was also already in the correct position. The do not disturb feature was not on. I don’t believe that charge 2 and iPhone X are compatible at this time for texts and calls. Fitbits website even says so!

Yeah I’m in the same boat. Any fix yet? I’ve done all the obvious steps several times.

* restarted phone

* all notifications are on and correct (phone, app, tracker)

* the phone is not on do not disturb

* deleted app / re-installed app

* deleted charge 2 from Bluetooth on the phone menu and repaired it with the 4 digit code

* restarted the tracker

This is the worst first world problem ever. 😞

@All

Give customer support a call as the iPhone X is so new and maybe not compatible with some of the trackers that are on the market yet.

I’ve had my charge 2 since March 2017. I had an iPhone 5s (yes, you read that right! Lol) and upgraded to an iPhone X in November. That’s when the problems started. While calling them is an option, I have a feeling it will turn into one of those “let’s try everything you’ve already tried multiple times” conversation and leave me in the same boat. Those types of conversations drive me bonkers.  I’m sure Fitbit is working on it and it’ll be fixed eventually. I can’t imagine it’s much fun to keep up with these phone operating upgrades that bug out your product! I was just adding my voice to the “yeah, it’s still not working” crowd.

Head over to the Charge 2 forum and search what others have done. Here is the link and then use the search bar, see my comment below on how to search.

At the top of the page, type "iPhone X" in the search all content box.

 I did do a search and went back and un-paired, un-installed, etc etc And it’s still didn’t work.  Thought maybe the 23rd time would be the charm. Oh well. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

I'm still not getting notifications, this is since last week.  Has there been an update to software that changed this?

Not to my knowledge. I’m still not getting notifications. Oddly enough if someone calls me, my fit bit vibrates but the screen is blank. So there’s that at least.

My wife had vibrate but no text, she had to do a couple changes in her iPhone settings.

Here is the document where she found the changes that she had to make.

Somehow the Fitbit has paired with my old phone again when I turned it on. I removed that outing and used the doc for notifications and we are working now.

thanks everyone

For some reason, I can receive calendar notifications and phone call notifications, but not texts. I have iPhone X and charge 2.

I finally found someone who posted the EXACT same issue I have. I’ve had my Charge 2 for over a year and always got calls/texts on Fitbit. I upgraded to an iPhone X on January 31st and no longer receive Text notifications, but still get calls and calendar reminders. Husband also has Charge 2, and also upgraded his phone. He gets calls/text/calendar notifications! I’ve tried all solutions and have compared our settings. Have u found a solution yet??!

Soooo weird girl, and no, I can’t figure it out! I’ve paired, unpaired, deleted app, reinstalled app, turned Bluetooth on and off... all the stuff everyone has previously suggested. I’m officially stumped. Frustrating!!

I didn’t find a solution. One day, it just started magically working. It was the weirdest thing because i didn’t do anything other than spend a week deleting the app, checking my settings, reinstalling he app, etc etc etc. I had officially given up and then poof. It worked. Sometimes it’ll stop working too. Who knows. Kind of a bummer it’s doing this.

Mine started working when I deleted the device from the old handset. By default the Bluetooth was syncing to the old device first, so I deleted it fully off the whole phone including the app. Problem solved
