Just got an iPhone X and it can’t find my charge 2, I’ve left it trying to find it but it just keeps telling me to make sure my charge 2 is on and near my phone. I put my old iphone next to it and set both phones up to try and find the charge 2 and my old iPhone found it immediately. Is Fitbit not compatible with iPhone X?

Hello @BedHeadBoris, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention. Indeed, the iPhone X is compatible with the Fitbit app and the Charge 2. It seems your old iPhone still has a Bluetooth connection with your tracker which explains why the old phone is able to sync with the Charge 2 but not your iPhone X.
At this moment I would like to suggest you to go to the Bluetooth settings on your old phone and check if your tracker is on the list of paired devices. If it is, tap on it and select Forget this Device. Then, turn off the Bluetooth on your old phone and try to sync with your iPhone X.
I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else!

I have an iPhone x and just got a charge 2.
I can't setup device. When I get to the enter 4 digit code it just hangs... My fitbit gives up the 4 digit code, i put it into the phone and phone says connecting and the fitbit goes dark.
Reinstalled app and same, turned bluetooth off and on, same...
help me please... I don't want to get an apple watch.

Your solution is no solution; it's just reiterating that same out-of-the-box steps. I've had a Charge 2 for quite some time and just got an iPhone X but have not been able to pair them. I've been through every 'solution' that I've found in this forum but nothing has worked. It's stuck at "Connecting to Tracker".
UPDATE:
Sorry. My bad. I had removed the Charge 2 from the Fitbit app on my old phone but had not told Bluetooth to forget it. As soon as I did that, the pairing with the new iPhone X was successful.

Hello @avensis, I hope you're doing well, thanks for joining the conversation.
I appreciate you have shared your experience with your Fitbit device and your Galaxy S8. Please note that this board is specifically for iOS devices, but I'll be happy to assist you. Tell me, exactly which troubleshooting steps have you tried so far? Have you restarted your phone and your Fitbit device recently? If so, I would like to suggest you to set up your Fitbit as a new device to reset the connection between the phone and your tracker. Don't worry, none of the information already stored in your account will be deleted.
To set up your tracker as a new device:
I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to create a new post in the Android board.
Happy stepping!

Have the Fitbit Charge 2 HR - and over the holidays received a new iPad and new iPhone.
Tried to connect our Fitbit with our new iPad/iPhone... and it would not complete the Sync or Looking.
Stumbled across this thread - and was able to setup the Fitbit with new iPhone AFTER doing the "forget" on the old iPhone bluetooth.
SO - it would be nice to see somewhere in the Fitbit setup doc/screens
that a Fitbit can ONLY BE PAIRED WITH A SINGLE BT DEVICE AT A TIME.
Seems unfortunate....

Yay it worked! Thanks for the tip as it was getting frustrating. Removed it from my old phone and voila!
