iPhone app: No facebook friends were found

Hello there,

I'm wrestling a bit with the Fitbit application on iPhone (2.33.1 Build 650) and Facebook friends. I found the other posts about revoking the Facebook integration on Fitbit web site but it does not seem to work for me. Once the accounts are linked, I'm always ending up having the screen below:

My wife just got a Fitbit yesterday and she could see in that list people that I'm sure that I have not added yet. Does anyone know how to get this sorted?

Thanks,

Dulcow

It seems the picture you added to your post didn't upload correctly, would it be possible for you to reply with the picture again? That will be very helpful for me to investigate this issue further.

Thank you for your patience, I'll be waiting for your reply! Smiley Wink

Im having the EXACT same problem as the one listed above. When i go to "add friends", and click on the Facebook tab, all i get is the same message as his above. Same exact screen and everything. I've done a bunch of searching on the topic but can't seem to figure it out. Help would be appreciated. Thanks,

Hello @bp13, thanks for joining us, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community. It's nice to see you around too @Dulcow

I'm very sorry for the delay in my response, in this case I would like to restart the link between the Fitbit and Facebook apps:

  1. Open the Facebook app and going to Profile > Settings > Apps > Logged in with Facebook >  Fitbit, then scroll down and remove Fitbit.
  2. Go to the Application Settings on your online Dashboard and under Facebook click on Revoke Access.
  3. Restart your phone
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap on the Community (or Friends) tab, tap on Add Friends > Facebook and link the apps again.

I hope this can be helpful, give it a try and keep me posted in case you need anything else! Smiley Wink

Hi there,

I tried this already before with no success. The strange thing that it seems to work properly under Windows 10 using the same account... Anyone else has tried on a different platform to see if they could get something working?

Cheers,

G.

Hello @Dulcow, I hope you're having a great day, thanks for taking the time to reply! Smiley Happy

If you have already tried the troubleshooting steps on my previous post, please try the following on the Fitbit app:

  • Force-close the app by double tapping the home button and swiping up the app.
  • Log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in.

Please give this a try and let me know the outcome. Smiley Wink

Hello @Dulcow, thanks for replying and let me know you're still experiencing this situation.

At this moment, is this issue happening on the Fitbit app for iOS? Is is possible for you to use another mobile device to log in to your account and check if this is also happening?

Thanks for your patience and understanding, I'll be waiting for your reply!
