This is the second time i've got double count of floors after syncing. I've noticed that the ios app sync's again and doubles the floor count. Before syncing i saw on the Charge HR 2 floors after syncing on the HR it say's now 4 floors.

iPhone 6S, ios 9.1

Hi @nan0tEch nice to see you on the Community! Smiley Happy Thanks for your info. Your tracker may give you credit for extra floors for a variety of reasons. Occasionally your tracker may detect pressure changes unrelated to elevation gains, such as a gust of wind, weather change, or opening a door. Also, exposure to excess moisture can also result in extra floors being counted. This happens if the pathway to the altimeter on the back of your tracker becomes temporarily blocked with sweat or water. So, please take a look on this article to clean your tracker "How do I clean my Charge HR?"

Finally, If the issue persist, try to restart your tracker and after that set it up as a new Fitbit device. That works for me last week and if you want to remove floors from your account, go to: Delete Floors.

Keep me posted, I'll be around!

Hi nan0tEch,

My fitbit charge HR does the exact same thing - gives me exactly double credit for floors. This morning I went for a walk and it told me I'd done 29 floors which is right - I do the same walk every morning. A few minutes later I looked again and it was 58 floors. I synced again and it flipped back to 29.

On other occasions I've received those badge milestone emails about floors when it had temporarily doubled them.

Fitbit is clean/gives the correct reading - it's a double syncing issue.

Cheers
