I'm really disappointed to learn I am no longer able to download the Fitbit App as it is not compatible with the iOS version being used on my iPhone 4s. I appreciate the fact that it is a fossil however I've only had my Fitbit Versa Lite a couple of months and it was working ok up until a few hours ago. I tried to re-download the app only to be given the error message that my phone/iOS is no longer compatible. There was no option to download an older version of the app. I am no left with a glorified digital watch! Does anyone know of a way around this? Having looked on a post on this board, you should be able to download an older version but I'm not sure how. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. TIA

Hi Ang
Thanks for the reply but unfortunately I am unable to opt for an older version, even though I managed to download it successfully in May. The app was working fine until this morning and is now not compatible. 😕

My daughter has a 4s and we will be giving her an Inspire as an early birthday gift. She is on our Family Share through Apple (where we can share any purchased apps among the phones linked to mine). I was able to go into the App store, find the apps I've purchased, and download an older version of the Fitbit app from when I originally put it on my phone several years ago. If you have had the app on your phone before, try searching your purchases and see if it is still listed there. We have not connected the Inspire to her app yet, but fingers crossed it will work OK.

I have been able to download an earlier version by searching in my purchased apps!
