When you launch the Fitbit app, you have to wait for your Fitbit to sync before going to the "Friends" tab, otherwise the tab won't reflect your accurate steps when the sync completes. Sometimes (like the morning), it still doesn't update even after you have synced, even if you didn't go to the Friend's tab first. This issue has been going on as long as I've had the app (1.5 years), and is super annoying that you have to close and relaunch the app just to get the friends page to be accurate.

Hi @teec88,
Out of curiosity, what type of iOS device are you using and what iOS version is it running (ie iOS 10.2, iOS 9, etc)?
Also, do you manage multiple Bluetooth connections on your iOS device? If so, I'd recommend the tips mentioned here.
Lastly, are experiencing a failed sync when you force sync your tracker or a failed sync when you open the Fitbit App?
Keep me posted.
Best AnswerHi Derrick,
I am using an iPhone 5S running iOS 10.2.1.
I do not believe my issue is related to having multiple Bluetooth connections configured on my iOS device, and when I sync my Fitbit, it is always the only active Bluetooth connection.
No, my sync is successful.
