"Not enough data available"

Hello!

I'm having a problem, as if just today, with the display of data in my exercises. While the Fitbit is recording all info for the exercise (heart rate, calories, steps) and everything is accounted for in other areas, the graphs/charts are not displaying for "heart rate" or "calories burned" when I go into each exercise. Each blank area says "not enough data available" though all the info is present at the bottom (impact on the day) and top (time in heart rate zones).

I have tested a few different exercises after force closing the app, updating the app, logging out of my account and back in, and also restarting my phone. All 4 logged exercises are giving me the same error.

The is the first day I've encountered this problem, as all exercises yesterday recorded and displayed the proper info. Something just seems to be wrong as of early this morning.

Please let me know how to correct this problem, and thank you in advance!

Mine started to work again a while ago, but now the screen is blank on the Fitbit,it still records steps and other stuff but I can’t see it on the screen I have to use the app. I’ve decided to get another device as Fitbit is inferior to other devices but they cost so much.

It does record the heartbeat. I mentioned the fix in a previous post. You
have to position it on the ball of your wrist or just above it and it will
log it

I tried that and no, it did not work.

I have tried to start an exercise from the watch and not from the app and it worked.

Still not fixed in Oct 2020! Time changed with daylight saving in Australia. The Ionic captures all the data and it (heart rate) even shows up working as expected in Strava, but not on Fitbit’s own app.

Yep, my Sense is having this problem in the UK, clocks went back to GMT last night.

Yep. I’m in the UK and got the problem today. Very annoying.

I'm sure we will be posting  something similar in spring 21. This issue has been posted for many years

2021 and same problem.

Chatted with two different people from Fitbit. Neither was particularly helpful in solving the issue (one was actively not helpful). After over 30 minutes with the second agent, she sends me this article.

Y'all, this has been going on for five years and hasn't been fixed. Two issues:

  1. Neither agent could easily just say "yep, this is a DST thing, give it 24 hours."
  2. When directly asked "Should I expect to see this each time we spring forward or fall back" - a question that I restated several times - I was not given an answer. I was told "thank you for your cooperation." When asked again, the answer was again evaded.

Fitbit - seriously, just fix this issue OR make it very clear that this is an issue.

Honestly, I love my Charge 3 but the lack of transparency (and obvious lack of fixing a known bug) is grounds to move to a different tracker.

I'm still getting the notifications,  but stopped wearing my Versa 2 when I received  a Galaxy Watch Active  as part of my phone upgrade.

It's not  perfect (battery  and charging time) but it syncs, is reliable when I go running,  the GPS  picks up immediately and stays!

I don't have to to complete factory resets every time I do a software update on my phone.

Fitbit wins on accessories, but I'm  still happy I've swapped.  Those little  frustrations and annoyances add up...

From what I gather from the comments it will work normally again tomorrow but I’m shocked that a fix hasn’t been found over the years

It will be OK tomorrow,  then it will  happen every  daylight savings  time change!!!!
