During the set up tutorial, it said I could go to the fitbit app to set up

notifications for text messages/emails. I do not see where to do this.

Can someone help?  Thanks!

Open your Fitibt app and you will be in account settings.  Listed will be the Fitibt tracker you paired to your account.  Select that tracker and you will see several options of which notifications is one of them.  Click on to notifications, select & enable what you want for your notifications.  There should be 3 (calls, text messages & calendar events). In addition to that there is also app notifications.  I have a Blaze and on this tracker I have enabled the notification feature.  Without enabling this on my tracker I won't receive any notifications that I have identified in the app.  You also want you make sure your Bluetooth feature on your phone is enabled.  Hope this helps.

Hello @sharbme, thanks for joining us, it's great to see new faces around. Smiley Happy

As @J-flex mentioned, you will be able to enable Notifications by going to Account > Your Tracker > Notifications on the Fitbit app. Please remember that if you have a Charge or Charge HR you will only able to receive call notifications, not text ones.

Additionally, in order to receive notifications please go to your phone Settings > Notifications > Fitbit and check that the following options are enabled:

  • Allow Notifications
  • Show in Notification Center
  • Show on Lock Screen.
  • Alert Style has been set to Banners or Alerts.

I hope this can be helpful, if you need anything else feel free to reply, I'll be happy to help! Smiley Wink
