I searched for answers to this topic, and none of the solutions outlined worked. I added the details below. I am frustrated because it won't work.
I am also having trouble with an Ace 2. I charged it past 50% and started the update. At some point, it stopped updating, and it won't turn on at all now. It will prompt me in the app to turn the Ace 2 on, and it won't turn on to connect. It has charged for over 14 hours connected to the wall, so it should be fully charged. I tried the push the button, pause, push button, pause, push button, pause sequence with no effect. I also tried holding the button down for fifteen seconds and releasing at least twenty times with no effect. My daughter is excited about it, and I am hopeful that it can work. I am disappointed at this point because it has been so hard to get it to work for us, which is ridiculous. I have had a fitbit for many years, and I haven't had this issue with it.

Hi @audreypawdrey,
Have you tried contacting Support directly? You can find the link at the bottom of the page.
I think you're right, there is something wrong with your daughter's tracker and I think it has something to do with the battery. It should not take 14 hours to get a full charge (you can usually get to a full charge within 2 hours). Ask them for a battery test and be prepared to submit proof.

I have the same problem. I bought two, one for each of my kids, as an end of the school year gift. They **ahem** them this morning and charged all day. My son's works fine but my daughter's wouldn't finish the install and now won't do anything. I tried the reset tricks but it's still not doing anything.
