Ace 2 black screen

My sons fitbit will only show a black screen sometimes it will flick back on and work for 5 mins then goes back off again. If put on charge it shows screen again for few seconds then goes black. It still vibrates and everything else its just the screen goes black and wont come back. Was only bought in Dec

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Ashleyclan. Thanks for letting us know that your son´s Ace 2 still vibrates and everything else.

I understand how frustrating this could be and recommend restarting the device:

1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
2. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
3. Press and hold the button or buttons on your tracker for 5 seconds.
4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.
