Ace 2 is not responding

My son's ace 2 is not responding to anything. If tried to restart it, plugged it in, tried to turn on, off but nothing happening,

Hi there @Caroline7, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided about your son's Ace 2. Thanks for trying to solve the issue prior to posting here.

 

As per the description, it seems that it has insufficient power source. Where does he charge his Ace 2? Have you checked if by any chance the USB port or outlet is faulty? If you haven't done so, try a different port. Don't use a USB hub. Tips to best charge Fitbit trackers are:

 

  • Use only genuine Fitbit charging cables
  • Use only UL-certified wall chargers
  • Avoid USB battery packs
  • Charge at room temperature

For charging purposes, your charging cable can be plugged into any USB power source, including but not limited to:

 

  • A computer
  • A Wall A/C to USB adapter, commonly found with smartphones
  • A DC to USB adapter (vehicle power port)

 

Keep the charging contacts on the back your device and the pins on the charging cable clean and free of debris. For more information, see: How do I clean my Fitbit device?
