My sons Fitbit lost steps, he was at almost 20,000 steps. The last sync with my phone he was at 16k, well went to sync his Fitbit again and all of a sudden it dropped him down to 11k and changed the steps on his watch. He lost all those steps.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @chegge84.

I am sorry to hear your son's Ace 2 lost steps. I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. I suggest restarting the tracker by following the steps from this help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device? I also recommend making sure the tracker is syncing daily.

You can manually log an activity so the lost steps can be added to the day's total by following the steps from this help article: How do I add, edit, or delete Fitbit data and activities?

I'll be around if you need further assistance.
