My daughter got an Ace 2 last Christmas and now the screen is incredibly dim and hard to see. I have tried to see it in certain dim lights and restarted it a couple of times and even ran the battery all the way down and restarted again like I read online. Nothing has really helped to make the screen brighter. I can't believe that it only lasted a year!

I have not tried that but every screen on the watch face is dim - including the stats and other screens that you swipe to get to. I can try that to see if that would reset the watch.

Thank you for checking in on this post. I did reach out to support and they were able to replace the Ace 2 that was a month past its 12 month warranty. It was appreciated that Fitbit was willing to help get her a functioning watch again. She was so excited! Thank you @Odyssey13 for suggesting I reach out to Support. I wasn't sure there was anything that they would do with it being out of warranty. My wife and I are on our 2nd Fitbit each and have always loved the improved technology. My wife updated her Charge 2 to a Charge 4 to get the waterproof functionality and I updated to the Versa 3 to have the smartwatch and bigger screen. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Fitbit!

I got it in the mail last night, charged it up full, updated the software, and we were all paired up for her to sleep track last night and get her wake up alarm set! It was nice and easy and Support was wonderful.
