Hi
is there a way of making the ace 2 less sensitive? My son sat at his desk doing his homework and recorded over 100 steps. He sat building Lego for an hour and recorded over 1000 steps without leaving the lounge! It’s reasonably accurate if actually out walking and running but adds lots of steps without moving, I’ve already set it to dominant which improved it slightly but not much.
thanks

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Loz1uk.
Thanks for the details shared in your post and for already trying to solve the issue. I understand how you are feeling. The tracker is a motion sensor on the wrist and it may count some steps when your son is performing activities with arm movements, however, it shouldn't be significant when compared to the overall stats. Thank you for sharing that you've already switched to the dominant wrist setting as it decreases the sensitivity of step counting and should reduce any over counting of steps. For more information about the accuracy of the Fitbit devices, please see Why does my Fitbit device count extra steps?
You can remove the extra steps from the daily total by following the instructions in this help article: How do I delete steps and floors in the Fitbit app?
Let me know how it goes.
