Hi,
I bought both of my children Ace2’s for Christmas. I’m trying to charge my daughter’s Fitbit but it won’t charge for more than a couple seconds? When plugged in, it shows the batter icon and then shows the screen where it wants to enter set-up and update to the new OS. Then the screen goes black. It doesn’t do anything at that point and won’t charge the battery either.
I can’t update the OS without at least 50% battery so I’m kind of stuck here. I’ve tried a reset. Thanks.

@EasternCanuck, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry to hear that your daughter's Fitbit Ace 2 is not taking a charge even though you have restarted it before contacting our forums.
Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article contains the restart process but you can skip them and proceed with the rest. Finally, charge your daughter's Ace 2 for 2-3 hours and see if it takes a charge properly.
