Ace 2 won’t turn on

I have charged the ACE 2 for over 4 hours now and it still won’t turn on. Yesterday I started the sync and update with my iPad and then the ACE 2 froze on the white line.  This morning I unplugged it and it went off and now it won’t do anything.  A very upset 7 year old thinks Santa has given him a broke present. Help please.

I understand how you are feeling about this situation. I appreciate your efforts and the additional details. If the issue persists, please try the following:

 

1. Turn your tracker off and on again using the instructions in How do I restart my Fitbit device?
2. Restart your iPad and try to update the tracker: How do I update my Fitbit device?
3. Log in to your Fitbit account on a different device, and retry the update.

Sadly the device was not doing anything. I have received a replacement from Amazon today.

Hi there- I am so sorry to disturb. My twins for a Fitbit Ace 2 each (very lucky!). 
I have set up one of them but the other one won’t switch on after charging endlessly and resetting as per instruction on other Threads of the Forum. 
Help! I have a very disheartened 8year old 😞

Mine was exactly the same. Just wouldn’t do anything at all.... seems like it’s happening to a lot of people.
I ended up returning it and exchanging for a new one and it’s working fine
