Ace 3 dim screen

My ace 3 screen is very dim. I’ve tried restarting it, checked the brightness settings etc. do I need to do a factory reset?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Dajala79. I'm sorry to hear that your Ace 3 screen is very dim and thank you for letting us know about the troubleshooting steps you have followed. I'll be happy to assist. 

Please make sure that the device is not on do not disturb or sleep mode and confirm that you have followed these steps to restart the tracker:

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Connect your device to the charging cable. For instructions, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  3. Press and hold the button or buttons on your tracker for 5 seconds.
  4. Release the button. When you see a smile icon and the tracker vibrates, the tracker restarted.

The factory reset could not fix this issue.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried those steps and it has not made any difference unfortunately. Is there anything else I can try please?
