Ace 3 setup

I have to post this because the manual is as clear as mud 🙂

Ok so what exactly is the correct way to setup a FitBit Ace 3?

We have 4 existing FitBit devices enrolled in an existing family account

When I look at family account I see option to create a kids account

We have two brand new Ace 3 devices for our 2 sons

Is it better to download the app on childs phone and register them there? Or should I be creating the kids account on my personal app on my phone?

If I did create the kids account on my phone would the child be able to use his phone to view status and badges etc?

Is there any issue with creating both kids accounts at same time or is there any issue with me creating 2 kids accounts under my account?

If I download the app directly on older childs phone instead, is there any way for younger child to be able to view his badges? (eg switch view? Or do they need to login / logout?)
