Ace 3 strap too small

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Bought an Ace 3 for my 10 year olds birthday yesterday. Can't believe how small the strap is on it! Would like an official Fitbit strap that fits but they don't appear to come in larger sizes? Help!

Also why is he getting my text notifications at times? I've set his up on family account as instructed.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Rachyroo85.

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand how you are feeling and would like to advise that Ace 3 is compatible with Inspire 2 classic bands for larger sizes or different styles. You can purchase additional bands on www.fitbit.com/store.

Regarding the issue with notifications, you can turn off notifications under the kid view in the Fitbit app:

1. Open the Fitbit app and tap your profile picture from the Today tab.
2. Tap My Family.
3. Under your child's name, tap Switch to Kid View.

4. Tap your child's profile picture.

5. Tap Ace 3 > Notifications > Turn off call notifications.

You can find more information about the Ace 3 in this manual

Hope this helps.

Is this correct that the Inspire 2 straps?  The strap on the Ace 3 is too small for my son, and on a recent chat with Fitbit they advised the Ace 3 didn't fit any other strap and was a fixed size.

All they could say was they'd note the feedback.  It seems that same feedback message has been plentiful yet ignored!

If there is a different larger strap that would fit that would be great so my son can wear his watch. Otherwise I have wasted my money.

Hello @Ace3userUK and welcome to the Community.  The information given by @LiliyaFitbit is correct.  Chat gave you incorrect information.  You can use an Inspire 2 band.  The Inspire 2 is a discontinued model and you might not be able to find bands on the Fitbit store site.  A third party site might have Fitbit brand bands.  Or you might need to buy a third party band.

The Inspire 2 band uses a pin system, not the drop in like the Ace.  I know there is a YouTube video available that shows how to attach the band.
