Ace display text messages?

Does the Ace display text messages?

At first I thought that was a straightforward question but I'm now not sure it has a straightforward answer!

If you check reviews they say it has call and text notifications. For example: https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/review/activity-trackers/fitbit-ace-review-hands-on-3673578/

But if you check the features in the fitbit store then it suggests it has calls notifications but not text. For example: https://www.fitbit.com/uk/shop/ace

And there's this help file that suggests it's calls only: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1979/

Unfortunately the manual hasn't been released yet to confirm either way so my view is that it (probably) doesn't display texts.

I've only heard about the call notifications.

@Jaskozar Welcome to the Community! Thanks for stopping by the Ace boards. Fitbit Ace displays call notifications when a connected smartphone is nearby. It does not support text notifications currently. 

@SteveH Thanks for the heads up on articles stating it supports text notifications. I'm passing that information on to our product marketing team. This was not mentioned in any Fitbit materials.

My daughter just got the Ace 2, she's 8. My text messages from my phone are popping up on her FitBit. How can I stop this from happening? Thanks!
