Ace tracker's privacy same as Inspire

I will be looking to purchase another companies product. Fitbit and child privacy accommodations which only allow the Ace or Ace2 make zero sense. Whatever their interpretations of the federal laws are shouldn’t limit my ability to use the full range of their products. If they can’t solve this problem by making all of their products compatible on a family account then I will take my business elsewhere. Whatever business decision went into this decision I hope has a negative effect on their bottom line because it was a ridiculous decision on their behalf. If anyone had a solution that I’m unaware of, I’m all ears.  Short of lying about my children’s age. Otherwise I’m trying another companies products.
