Delete previous data from Fitbit Ace?

How can I delete previous data- step counts etc- so I can pass this Fitbit Ace to my younger child? I've done a reset using the charging cable button, but it still shows steps from a few months ago, so the targets and badges are not accurate for my younger child.

Just sync it one last time

Then set t up for your daughter.

Once it is set up it will take over for new for her

Thanks for you reply. Unfortunately this is what I've already done, and done again, and it still adds data from 3 months ago to my daughter's new account
