Getting an error when adding child to Family account

I have bought a fitbit Ace2 for my daughters birthday (tomorrow!) and I am trying to add it to my family account through the fitbit app on my phone when I go to the Add Child section and fill in her name, nickname, DOB and height etc and click next, I get an error message "you don't have permissions for this operation" - anyone assist, thanks?

Ignore the post - I had to remove myself as a member of the family and then re-create the family as a guardian before I could add the child.

Regarding the setup process that you were experiencing with your daughter's Fitbit Ace 2, I'm glad to hear that you managed to add her tracker to your family account properly. Thank you for posting the update here.
