Paired ace 2 with new device today and now time is 12 hrs out.
I have checked time zones- restarted ace 2 and the tablet - removed and reinstalled - nothing worked.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post, your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation prior to posting are appreciated as well. Let me share with you that our Fitbit devices use the mobile device information to display the time with the syncing process, therefore, by simply syncing your Ace 2 it should display the time that's configured on your mobile device.
However, this may also be fixed by updating the time zone setting in your Personal Settings. For step-by-step instructions, please see our help article: How do I change the time on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.
