My children have Ace 2 Fitbits and they have never tracked sleep on the device itself. I gave up on chasing a fix from Fitbit.
I want to upgrade and get them Ace 3's however I've been reading up and it seems this bug exists on Ace 3's as well. The Fitbit website advertises sleep tracking on the device as a feature of the Ace 3. So my questions to Fitbit are:
1: Can you confirm that this is a known bug?
2: Can you confirm your development team are investigating a fix?
3: Until it's fixed can you remove this feature from your advertising please?
4: If I purchase Ace 3's and the sleep tracking on device doesn't work, can I return them?
5: What do your support team actually do to fix the issue?
And my question to the wider community is has anyone found a reasonable alternative kids tracker that will show them sleep on their device, without having to keep logging into the app on a phone/tablet?
Thanks

Hello @Kathryn1912 ,
yesterday my son's ACE 3 got an update and for the first time ever this morning he was able to read his sleep time in the tracker. Not sure if it was a coincidence but I will keep monitoring it and report my finding.
Also I got the time in 24h format so also this bug seems having been fixed.
Unfortunately the changelog is the usual "This release includes bug fixes, improvements, and a critical security update.". Note that this time we even got a "critical security update" but there is not much to be able to understand. And, as usual, Fitbit moderators won't be able to provide any further information so it's up to us users to find the changes.
From my side I will keep reporting.

Apparently the bug does still exist @Kathryn1912
This issue is being discussed here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Ace-Family-Accounts/Update-has-removed-sleep-tile-on-Ace-3/m-p/52307...
I’d recommend joining that thread and participate in the discussion. It helps keep the forums organized but it also helps bring awareness to a particular issue if more individuals are experiencing the exact same missing sleep data.
