Hi, I need help, its Xmas day so appreciate any answers.
I have 2 new kids fitbits and tried to register. You have to via google.
Got through the steps, but on mobile verification with google when making their accounts it says There was a problem verifying your phone number. Tried a different mobile, same thing.
Deleted my mobile off my google account and went to re register and now it wont let me add another number.
What do I do next? totally lost....
I have an iphone and 2 new kids fitbits. So am trying to make 2 kids accounts (under 13) under my account.

I’m having the exact same problem, I have two young daughters who got Fitbit Aces for Christmas and 24hours later they still can’t use them. Why do Google make this so difficult? I’m considering taking them back and buying Garmin. I can’t create new child account using the Google family link app. It keeps failing on the mobile number verification. The mobile number is valid and attached to my gmail email account so it should work. I emailed Google support yesterday but no reply. My daughters are both very disappointed that they can’t use them. If I don’t hear back today then I’ll be returning them, it really shouldn’t be this hard.

Use the Family Link app and add a child from scratch, making a new account. Express settings is fine.
Then open the FitBit app and log in with the new child account you just created. It worked for me.
