Do I need to pair to get the kids' profile data uploaded to App?

Can this by automatic without having to switch into kids view to force a sync?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @FitHappyUser. Thank you for sharing your Ace syncing inquiry.

After your child syncs their tracker, log in to your Fitbit family account on your phone and switch to kid view to check their daily activity.

If you have more than 1 child account connected to the same device, you must sync each tracker individually. For instructions, see How do I sync an Ace tracker with my phone or tablet?

Thanks for your help @Odyssey13.

Hi @FitHappyUser  the only devices of the Ace series are considered for kids. If you're using a Versa 2, it's not considered a kid's device. Only way to have a Family Account is to have one of the Ace Fitbits on there.

Sorry I meant to say that I have 2x Ace devices (Ace 2) and they are registered.

In order to get the latest step data, I have to pair with each device to get data uploaded to the App.

I was hoping there is an easier way where I don't have to go into each kids' view to start the sync

Ah, ok. I'm going to move this to the Ace and Family account forum area so you can get more relevant responses.

It's a frustrating process.  I have 2 kids who don't have their own phones, so I spend a lot of time switching in between accounts so they can see their data being updated for our family challenges.  I wish Fitbit would let me use biometrics to speed up the password process.  I understand why it is there, but it's so slow.

It would be also great if I could switch between kid views without having to go back to my main page.  And I'd love if there was tile on my dashboard to show my kids' data from their last sync.  As it is, I'm keeping a pen and paper log of their sleep and activity for ease of sharing with their medical providers.
