New Ace 2 unresponsive

I bought this for my daughter yesterday. I charged it and set it all up. It was working fine. She wore it to school today then to gymnastics. When she got home the screen turned blacked and the device became unresponsive. It will not sync or charge. I tried a reset and that failed also. If someone could help I would appreciate it. Thank you.
