Set up Fitbit Ace for someone over 13

Hi, so I’m over 13 and have an Ace tracker I am trying to set up. It wants me to make a child account when I try to sync it, but when I do, it says I don’t have permission as I am under 18. Why can I not use the tracker with an over 13 account?

Thanks for the details shared in your post. I understand your concern and would like to advise that you need to be at least 18 years old in order to create a Fitbit family account. I appreciate your understanding. You can confirm the steps to create a Fitbit family account and set up the Ace tracker in How do I set up Fitbit Ace devices?
