Hello! Been at this for weeks using both an Android and iPhone.
I am the manager of our family link/parent account. My child is under is with his Gmail as a supervised user.
On my Android, Im in Fitbit app under my account, I hit set up Ace 3 for kids. Go to my family group members, go to add my child, click on his Gmail to add and get "something went wrong. Please try again". I have tried hundreds of times, restarted phone, removed app, etc.
On iPhone, I sign into Fitbit app, I go to add Ace 3 for kids, I see my son listed as one of my children and I can click into his Fitbit profile. I then follow to sign into his profile and I get I cannot use this account with Fitbit because it's supervised.
I'm pulling my hair out and have tried every hack possible. Help! Why is this so hard? I was able to set up my other son over Christmas with no issues 😭

Same thing happened to me. Ace kid trackers can't be linked into the account. Google and fitbit have different restrictions for kids under 13, which had not been clearly discussed before the transfer to Google.
There is only one way around and you will need to connect/open the old fitbit site. If you have transferred you account to Google you have one maybe two attempts to log in before it blocks you, then re directs you to google settings.
In short, the ace i bought won't work due to connecting it like the instructions advised. , I took mine back and requested a refund.
I read this fitbit/Google has been aware of this for some time ( year) with no resolution, no work around and not even a simple I instruction guide for anyone setting theses watches up.
