If your a adult setting up your child's or Ace 2 when your doing  general information about  your child and then you have to do how tall is your  child and you don't know and you ask your child and they don't know what do you do

What that is used for is to make an estimate of stride length, which is used to convert number of steps to distance.  If you don't know and cannot easily measure, just make a reasonable guess.  Even if off, the only thing it will affect is distance walked, converted from number of steps.  And you can adjust it later if you wish.
