Our family has two Ace bands (for two kids) and a Charge 2 (for me, their Dad). How do I best sync these to avoid my data overriding theirs, or vice versa? I'd also like a clean way to see their data. I'm clearly doing something wrong.
I've tried to find a solution online, but to no avail. I called Fitbit Customer Support, and they told me to sync each Fitbit under my account, but to ensure the other Fitbits were not nearby (so that the data didn't get mismatched). I told them that this solution (although I could be wrong) didn't seem to be logical, and would not enable me to see each Fitbit's data separately. I also don't think the answer was to ensure other Fitbits are at a distance from the phone... that's not a logical solution. There have been times when my Fitbit/phone sync from very far locations, and other times they don't sync at all!
Here's how we have it setup currently, which I presume is wrong:
-I'm the guardian account, and my kids have child accounts under me
-1 child has a phone and it's logged into my account. That's probably not the right approach. Perhaps they should have their own account, and link that to mine? I don't know.
-The other child does not have a phone. I'd like theirs to sync with my account/phone.
-Right now I have my Charge 2 and one of the Ace bands ready to sync to my account. When I added the other Ace band, it replaced the first one. And if I sync one of the Aces, it will then override my Charge 2 data with it.
Any recommendations on how to have this setup? Thanks for your help
