What features does Ace 3 track?

My 8yr old son got an Ace 3 for Christmas. I must admit,, trying to use it has been frustrating.
It seems the device is quite useless without a heart beat monitor. That's the entire reason to buy a fitbit and yet it's not a feature of the Ace3?
Also, its marketed towards kids, yet has a menstrual tracker, food/calorie chart,a water log, and gps to monitor jogging routes? It seems its not actually for kids.
Then I thought id wear it for my workout today. A 45min intense cardio/yoga workout and it didn't even register on my Ace3. No active minutes logged. My device was on and synced. It registered about 170 steps. That's it. An entire 45 min high intensity workout boiled down to 170 steps on a fitbit profile.

I am greatly disappointed in fitbit. Im not seeing the usefulness of this device and the features fitbit decided to include/exclude.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Dangusernamebs.

Thank you for your comments.

The Fitbit Ace 3 tracks sleep, all-day steps and Active Minutes. To clarify this misunderstanding please share the link where states that those extra features are included.

I'll be waiting for your response.

On my daughter's Ace 3 in the How to use section from the app it shows images of modes which are not on the device. Go to the How to use tile and select Navigation section...scroll down to the 2nd image and it shows the unicorn clock face followed by  Notifications, Exercise, Relax, Swim, Run. This is misleading as these are NOT on the device.

I just got one for my daughter for Christmas. Yes I agree it's very misleading. Basically it's just an expensive pedometer!

I captured video of the How to section and uploaded to YouTube as unable to upload images on here.
