I accidentally closed my fitbit while I was tracking a run. Now I’m unable to select the “+” on exercise, heart rate, etc. I’ve done a forced reset and have the latest version of the app. Any ideas?

When you say closed your Fitbit, @DWK725 are you reffering to the Alta HR or the Fitbit app on your unknown devices?

Hi! Thanks for your reply. On my iPhone, I was trying to close out my email that was running, but instead, I swiped up and shut dow my exercise tracking instead. I ended up deleting and reinstalling the fitbit app and was able to get it to work again.

This has now happened to me several times. If I accidentally close the Fitbit app on my iPhone during tracking exercise, or if my phone battery dies, then when I reopen the app I cannot click any features to open them (exercise, steps, heart rate etc.). This means I cannot restart tracking during my exercise.
I’m unable to click for the entire day, even after powering off/on the phone and closing/opening the app. By the following morning things are back to normal and I can click and expand all the features from the app.
Any idea how to reset the app when the fitness tracking is stopped midway?
