After having issues with a charge 3 I decided to downgrade and purchase an Alta. I recieved it today and was excited to charge it up and get tracking. Gave it a full charge , it was plugged in for about 3 hrs.
Now after not even 2.5 hours it says low battery and only 25%left?
What the heck??? Is this on ongoing issue for the Alta or did I get a dud ?

Hi @Jennywrenn you bought a new Alta? They were retired a while back and replaced by the Inspire family of Fitbit devices. Are you able to return or exchange it?

Here is a list of the authorized retailers - click to view. Retired means they are no longer being manufactured, but they may still work. A brand new sealed package can often be recreated by a store that has the right equipment. I'm in the USA and not familiar with The Source store. Stores have different return policies. You might want to check.
