I accidentally tapped edit and lost my steps screen. How do I reinstate?

Assuming you mean on phone app, tap 'Edit' again and scroll down to 'Removed Stats';  it is probably there to add back.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
