Alta HR Not Logging Exercise Conten

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Alta HR is working & the active minutes & calories also show up on my app. The problem is when I go to log my exercise (I.e. weights, biking, walking, etc.) the heart rate & calories burned information shows at “no data detected”. I have always been able to do this & this started happening on Tuesday. I have restarted my Alta Hr twice, deleted & readded the Fitbit to the app several times, closed the app, restarted my phone, etc.

Just got off the phone with customer service. They are currently working on a fix for the problem. He said to try again in the next 24 hours to see if it is fixed.

This happened to me. HR was recording for entered excise last week. Wouldn’t record this week. Did online chat with Fitbit very rude customer service. Phone call yesterday with them just told me to press button on charger but this didn’t help. Virtually no customer service. Is the Fitbit broken? Only a year old will never purchase from them again.

It appears to the app not device, hopefully an update and fix soon, this started for me on Tuesday before that everything seemed to be all right, frustrating for sure!

Someone else on this thread said they contacted fitbit and was told they were aware of the issue and are working to resolve it, so I am going to give it a few days before throwing in the towel.
Meanwhile I have been documenting my activity and hope to add it later.
I agree, very frustrating.

Tuesday seems to be the day everyone started having issues. Someone else on this thread contacted fitbit and they stated they were aware and working on a fix. It was stated they would fix it within the next few days. I am documenting my activity and will attempt to add it later. I hope I can do that but if not I think I might be looking into a different tracker, however they all have issues from time to time.
Best of luck!

Same.  Started on Tuesday, February 25, 2020.

This is happening to me too, starting Tuesday, February 25, 2020. Since it seems that this is happening to everyone starting at the same time, it is likely an app/software problem, and not a problem with our devices. I also contacted Fitbit customer service via chat, and was told that this is a problem they are working on around the clock. Hopefully it is fixed soon!

Same here. I really put in the effort and I logically know that but it is nice to track it. That’s why we have trackers! Hopefully soon.

I am still putting in the time at the gym but it’s nice to be able to track it. It is like my little reward after the workout to add it and SEE how well I’ve done! I hope this is fixed soon as it’s been nearly a week for all of us!
