How often should I expect my band to break on my Alta HR? My husband has had his replaced once and now mine has broken for the second time.

Hi, @AKennedyinOntar! I haven't used my Alta HR in quite a while, but I didn't run into any issues when I was using it. Certainly some of it is how you use it. I know it's frustrating for bands to break, I've been there. Fingers crossed that this one works for you!

Hi! Yes, those bands are not very sturdy. My bird loves chewing on the silicone bands. I found the best source for bands is eBay. I bought a bunch of them, less than $10 each. Sometimes 2 for $10. I buy the metal magnetic ones, they last forever. I have them in multiple colors, so I can change them to match my outfit. None of those have broken so far.

It’s a design flaw, where the band attaches to the FitBit. The plastic tabs get brittle and break. I have bought replacement bands at Target (online) and most recently on Amazon. Very good prices on Amazon and good quality, too.
