Alta HR battery issues

I have had my alta for almost a couple years, It was working just fine until two months ago, when i took it off and put it in a drawer.

 

Now that I am trying to use it, it just doesn't charge, it gets super hot and it is not responsive at all.

is there anything that I can do? is the battery dead? I have tried to restart it, I have tried multiple cables, power sources, nothing. 

 

Appreciate the insight!

Hi @KateB8 If it hasnt come good after several restarts then it it is dying, sadly. Lithium ion batteries hate being left flat, so if you ever don't wear your Fitbit for a while, try to keep it charged.
