My alta just shows a blank screens even after charging it for half a day!..  When it does show something its only like white lines and sqiggles?  Any advice how to fix this please?

If you are having problems with your tracker not turning on, I recommend restarting the unit by following the steps in the help article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?.
