Alta HR exercise information inaccurate

The last couple of days when exercising my Alta HR has recorded my exercise in 2 separate sections one of 40 mins and one of 23 mins (there has been no break in the exercise period). Today I did the same run/walk that I have been doing and it has only displaying a single 33 mins exercise instead of the actual 60 (so miffed that all my exercise is not being recorded. 

 

Any one know how to fix the above?

I appreciate the information provided and would like to know if you keep having this problem? If so, I recommend restarting your unit by following the steps in the article: How do I restart my Fitbit device?.
