My Alta HR is running firmware version 26.26.63.2. It stopped doing all of the above overnight.
I've uninstalled the app on my Android, re-installed, re-started phone, and still can not get this device going. It's not listed in my paired Bluetooth list.
My charging cable doesn't have the button I'm supposed to press 3 times.
When I click on "link device" in my Android app, only the option to not link it exists.
I've spent hours on this. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Alma-L The only thing likely to help is Restarting your Alta HR. To do that you need to have a button on the charging cable. If there is no button it is probably not an original Fitbit cable and there is no other way to restart. If you dont have access to a cable with a button there is nothing much you can do, and as the Alta HR I now a very old in the world of electronics it is probablynot worth buying a new cable even if you can find one on Amazon. The tracker is quite possibly dead in any case. Sorry.

It is actually the charging cable that came packaged with the FitBit. The good news is that a few days after posting my question, it just starting syncing again!
What I need to know now is if there are any updates for this older model (firmware version 26.26.63.2.). If so, it seems as if it should be updating automatically.

My charger is the same. No buttons to push. I hope mine starts syncing like yours did. This has happened more times than I can count......sadly.

You can try unplugging and plugging in 3 times, in under 8 seconds. Does the same as the button.

I'm just beyond frustrated. I devoted over an hour tonight attempting to fix this with two different chat representatives, to no avail. They said they'd e-mail me within a day. Meanwhile, my FB Alta HR hasn't synced in five days, and I'm over this nonsense. I want to support FB, but this is a miserable waste of my time and energy.
