As of Wednesday (1/23) instead of syncing, my alta hr just shows a "device not found" message on both my phone and my laptop. Of course, I made no changes from one day to the next. Any clues?

Hello @lbrum, welcome to the Community forums.
Thank you for all the details you've provided about your trouble you've been experiencing to sync your data.
Before considering other options, could you please confirm if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems
In addition, please make sure to check if the mobile device you're using is listed here as a compatible device to sync with the Fitbit app.

If you've followed the troubleshooting steps and nothing worked, try removing the device and rebooting it. There's a button on the charge cord itself that you can press 3x quickly to reboot the actual fitbit device. I had this issue too and this is the only thing that worked.
