On a previous post regarding not being able to sync the Alta HR to my Google Pixel 3a, different forums seemed to indicate unpairing the device & then repairing, as well as deleting the device altogether & reinstalling, which I ultimately did. Also, I uninstalled the app & then reinstalled it again, restarted the phone, etc. I also deleted the Alta HR from my profile on the Fitbit community webpage.
Now I can't reinstall the Alta HR anywhere, to which someone helpfully suggested to further search the forums to learn how to reinstall the Alta HR without first installing it to the phone. From what I've been able to ascertain, that solution will only work if the Alta HR comes with a wireless dongle. So if the Alta HR doesn't come with the wireless dongle to facilitate installing on the computer, what other methods are there to do this?
I'm at my wit's end at reading through forums, clicking on links that take you back to instructions with more links, then getting nowhere countless hours of wasted time. Please just tell me how to reinstall an Alta HR to my phone or computer.

I understand how are you feeling and appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this setup issue. If you are having problems with this process, I recommend checking the article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device? and make sure you have followed the instructions provided there.

nothing worked, tryed resetting, force stopping,uninstalling, etc. doesnt work
