My Alta HR stopped synching on March 1st.  I've tried all suggestions.  Nothing worked.  Any ideas before I replace it.

Hello @VWilliamsAltaHR, welcome to the Community Forums!

First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed.

Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted, I'll be around if you need anything else.

Thank you for the reply.  I followed all directions and posted FAQ as well first.  My phone was synching just fine until 1am March 1st.

You're welcome @VWilliamsAltaHR, thanks for your reply.

I appreciate the details that were shared with me, seems odd that you're still unable to sync your Alta HR even after trying the troubleshooting steps from my previous post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? Is the Fitbit app and your mobile device operating system up to date? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the following steps:

  1. Restart your Fitbit.
  2. Please on the phone, go to Settings > Bluetooth, and remove all the connections that exist with the device. (Forget device, ignore or unpair depending on the version of the operating system of the phone).
  3. Turn off the Bluetooth and restart the phone. (Switch off and on again).
  4. When the mobile device is back on, turn the Bluetooth on again but do not attempt to connect to the Fitbit from here.
  5. Go on the app and try setting up the Fitbit as a new device.

I'll be around if your need anything else.

Mine has also stopped syncing. Or it says it is has done, but no data appear. Have followed all trouble shoot advice and gone through app settings. Still no luck 😐

I uninstalled the fitbit app from my ipad and tried to reinstall. Now, it says that it recognized my fitbit and is connecting, but never gets any further. I have tried to re-set fitbit with the 3 presses...it resets, but still will not connect. Any other ideas?

It gives the message that it found the tracker, but then says connecting. This has been the case each time.

Origninally, it stopped syncing so we uninstalled the app and reloaded. It has never connected since.
