Never had issues with my Alta HR till recently. Now it random looses connection with my phone. If I restart the Fitbit with the charger it reconnects but after a while (could be a few hours, might be a day or 2) it'll lose connection again.
When it happens if I use another device like my iPad to scan for Bluetooth devices its not there, but my iPad can see it as an available device if I restart Fitbit .... So clearly the Bluetooth issue is with the tracker itself. Done all the usual stuff like reinstalling app on phone, deleting and readding tracker ... No better ... It just seems to need a restart every few days/hours.
Is there anyway of reinstalling the latest software ( which is already installed ) on the tracker and do a factory reset rather than just a reboot? Also about 2 weeks ago, screen on tracker went blank and refused to charge for a few days. Tried loads of different usb charging plugs ... No difference .. Cleaned all contacts .. still no difference .. then oddly a couple days later, tried to charge it again and it charged ok.
Is it on its way out? It's only a couple of years old.

It's great to see you around, @SunsetRunner.
I appreciate all the efforts in trying to fix this syncing issue and would like to know if you keep having problems with your tracker? What troubleshoot have you tried so far besides the one you already mentioned?.
